Dental implants mimic the roots of natural teeth.  Once healed, a dental implant can be fitted with a crown and restore function.  Dental implants can also be used to restore missing front teeth since implant crowns resemble and function just like natural teeth.  For denture wearers, dental implants can be used to “snap” in a denture or even be used to permanently replace all the teeth in the mouth.
